Almost the weekend.

I’m keeping my fingers cross that we will get to leave early today. I have no motivation to work on the documentation I need to be working on; taking screenshots, editing them, writing the steps, staring at the computer screen for hours and not looking away. I’m ready for a long weekend and fun on the lake. Saturday we (Brian and I) are cooking for his parents and I have decided to attempt to make a Key Lime pie. The catch is I have never made one nor do I have a recipe. So if anyone has a good one, please let me know!

It seems like I have too many hobbies going on. Once I finished the piece I was cross-stitching, I started a Christmas present I'm knitting. This is going faster than I expected (which is good) so I'm about a 1/3 of the way finished. I came up with a new idea for gifts to knit (and for myself). I hope this will be fun to do and liked by who ever gets them. :)

I worked on my quilt and finished 2 more blocks Monday night. I have one more in progress to finish, and then I might attempt to cut out the next ones. Here are the new ones:

Quilting.

I did it! I sewed my first block together of my quilt. I really enjoyed doing this and am ready for the next one. I definitely see this being something I’m going to enjoy doing and can’t wait to do more. Check out the completed block:



I enjoyed doing this block so much, I have decided to do a complete Fence Rail quilt. Tonight I cut out the pieces (I might need more depending on how big 20 blocks make it) and looking forward to starting sewing it together.
