Hump Day

Sunday we had our first shower in Aberdeen. Thankfully the roads were ok enough for everyone to drive down for the shower. The snow Sunday was so pretty. I wish I had taken the time to take pictures, but I didn’t. We had a great turn out for the shower. Brian and I both were surprised at how many people were there. I didn’t take many pictures with my camera, but here is one.

This weekend Brian will be heading to Birmingham with the boys for his bachelor party. All he said he wanted to do for it was to see a good show. He was super excited when he found out Ryan Adams was playing at the Alabama Theater on a Friday night! The guys are leaving Friday afternoon to head and will be gone all weekend. An added bonus is Blitzen Trapper is playing Saturday night at the Bottletree. Brian will have a great time I know.

While Brian is in Birmingham, I’ll be in Hartselle for 2 more showers. So far I’m up to date on all my thank you notes. After this weekend, it might take me a little longer than 2 days to write them all. I have no idea where we are going to put all the gifts right now (since Brian won’t let us use them until we are married). Right now the china cabinet is getting full and the living room is scattered with gifts. I will be moving those into the dining room tomorrow night though. I hope I can bring back all the gifts from this weekend since I tend to like to look at the gift as I write the note.

Spring is just around the corner and I can’t wait! Starting tomorrow the weather is supposed to be in the 70s for the next 5 days. I know I will get the bug and want to work out in the yard, but we have to finish the inside first! I’ll try to take pictures of the master bedroom this weekend since that room is complete. I would take pictures of the office, but the windows aren’t painted yet and I want it to be finished before showing pictures.

I'm glad you got a photo with your mom and your mom-in-law! I have a pic of my mother and mother-in-law with me at my rehearsal dinner, and I love it.
