Weekend Report.

What a whirlwind weekend! We started our weekend out by driving to my parents Friday night. We (mom and I) had decided to do Brian's birthday with my family this weekend since we would not be back before it. I decided not to tell him we were doing it and let it be a surprise. Anyone who knows Brian knows he loves cake…so after we are eating it he says that on the way over he was hoping there would be cake there to eat. (Mom always has some kind of cake it seems when we are there.)

Saturday morning was Emma’s 5th birthday party. This year my sister went all out for the Princess party. She did an INCREDIBLE job on the cake.

The “office” was turned into a banquet room. I wish I had gotten a better picture, but I didn’t.

After the party and a few errands, Brian and I headed to Aberdeen for his dad’s retirement party. I have decided that I want to go visit Amory one Saturday and window shop along their Main Street. Such a cute town! Once we arrived at Brian’s parents’ house, we were greeted with a couple of wedding presents! How exciting to get our first gifts! We receive a place setting of our “nice” stainless (I refuse to do actual silver. Why not just get a nicer set of stainless and take out the process of polishing.) and a piece of Peter’s pottery. The party was good; we had to repeat the same thing over and over again to everyone there about the wedding. Is it April 19th yet?!

Sunday was another busy day. I had a list of things I needed to do and go a few done due a killer migraine. First time I have had one that didn’t go away after the first pill or the second pill. We attended the Goodwin’s annual Super Bowl party. We won 5 bucks on the squares for the 3rd quarter.

All in all the weekend was good and BUSY!

Seems like everyone I know is either pregnant or trying to get pregnant. I have 4 friends who are currently pregnant (that I know of) and sure by the end of the year more will be. I need to start cracking on baby gifts! I pray that every one of them have a safe and healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
