Been awhile.

I know it’s been awhile since I have posted, but things are just moving so fast right now. With just little over 2 months till the wedding, all the little details need to be taken care of and finished up. I’m telling you, I will be so glad when this is over with. April 19th cannot get here soon enough! It seems like every time I turn around there is more for me to do. Thankfully I’m almost done addressing invitations and can move on to something else. I have the best sister in the world (who is also my matron of honor) who is making my hostess gifts and wedding programs for me. Oh, and her and my mom are making the door hangings too for the building. I’m telling you working full-time, re-doing a house, and planning a wedding do not mix.

This weekend Brian and I will be on the go. We have Emma’s birthday party Saturday morning (in Hartselle) and then Dennis’s retirement party Saturday night (in Aberdeen). Sunday is the Super Bowl and party at the Goodwin’s’. Now if anyone has a magic wand that will transport us everywhere quickly and make my dish for me I want to borrow it. Thankfully next weekend is an open weekend and Brian’s birthday! This will be our last free weekend with nothing to do until the wedding. I’m sure going to miss free weekends! I’m going to find an outlet for stress and downtime. Just thinking about it makes me stress because I know what all we have to do to the house before the wedding and there is not anytime.

I know I sound like I’m complaining in the post, but I’m mainly just talking about my stress and overwhelm-ness. I hope everyone has a good weekend!
