This past weekend we had our Engagement party. There was a great turnout for it. Majority of the people I had no clue who they were (the party was primarily Aberdeen people with a few Tupelo friends and my parents). It was very exhausting having to greet everyone; Brian and I did not get a chance to mingle with our friends who made the trip down. Thanks to all who come! We love you all!
So far I have been on top of writing Thank You notes. As soon as I get a gift I turn around and write the note. This weekend will be the true test at how quickly I can turn around notes with our first shower. The following weekend we have two back to back. That will be a feat! The only thing I have left to do is meet back with the florist this next week or so to finalize and then all the big stuff will be done. Side note: I guess no one wants a free goodie from me. :( You still can leave a comment if you would like one on the post below.

We had so much fun this weekend! I hate that we didn't get to talk to y'all more at the party, but I am so glad that we got to come see the house and visit with you for a while.
