Finally Sunday

What a weekend!

Big congratulations to Casey and Micheal! They got engaged Wendesday night. I'm so excited for her and can't wait to hear more about the details.

Holidays are such a busy time and lots of traveling. We have a great Thankgiving Day in Aberdeen with Brian's family. We came back to Tupelo and several friends came over for the evening. Instead of heading to Oxford for the Egg Bowl, we decided to stay in and watch the game. While I'm glad Ole Miss won, I do feel bad it was such a blowout for State.

After the game, we headed to Hartselle for the weekend with my family. Saturday we were doing Thankgiving with them. In the morning we had our engagement pictures. It was raining so we didn't get to do many outside, but did get a few. Overall they turned out great. Brian was a good sport (he doesn't like getting his picture taken).

We did a little Christmas shopping and went to visit a few of my cousins. They were all in town visiting their parents, so on the way back to Mom and Dad's we stopped by to see them. Found out Jessica, one of my bridesmaids and cousins, is engaged! They are planning their wedding for August 1, 2009 if they can reserve the church. Can't wait--was looking for a good reason to take another trip back to DC! Oh yeah, the wedding will be in DC. :)

Did a smidge of Christmas decorating since we don't have a tree yet. This year we have decided to get a live tree. It has been YEARS since I have had a live tree so I'm looking forward to it. I'm also thinking about doing white lights instead of color too. Brian likes white, I like color. Dunno yet.
