Today I feel a little better, not as annoyed with the world as I have been most of the week. I didn’t have time last night, but I got all the ingredients for Cream Cheese Brownies and plan on making them tonight. They will be good for the weekend. Which I cannot wait for! We are renting a boat again this weekend and several friends of ours are coming up for a day on the water. I have forgotten how much I love being outside (when I have access to cool off with either jumping in a pool or floating on the lake).
Time for something fun. Somehow a co-worker and I just got started talking about old computer games we used to love. Some of my favorite was Police Quest, King’s Quest, Mixed-up Mother Goose, the maze set we had, Where in the World is Carman San Diego, and more! I really wish we still had the old computer and games so I could play them. I have been looking for Police Quest to download and play this morning. I found it, so I will be playing that tonight. Just what I needed to waste my time on. :) There is one I cannot think of the name of. I think it was on the first Windows computer we had. You started out on an island (no not Myst) and you could warp to different places on the map. I remember bits and pieces of it. Something about a mountain you had to climb up and solve the riddle to open up the cave, walking through the woods and a garden that had onions that you didn’t want to eat because they made you smell. Does anyone know what I’m talking about? What are some of your favorite old school games?
