Fun in the sun.

What a weekend! Friday night we had a house full. Everyone decided to go ahead and come up Friday night for the weekend. Tommy, Rachel, Jeff, Jennifer, Alica, and Ben all arrive in time for us to have plenty of fun Friday night. Saturday we got up and head out to the water around 9:30. The weather was beautiful. It wasn’t too hot and it wasn’t overcast as it was predicted. I enjoyed it greatly because there were not near as many people out on the water as the past few weekends. We headed to Panther Cove to anchor down and float. For once I remembered to take pictures.

I always forget how much the sun can drain you. We were all getting tired so we headed back in around 4:30ish. It gave us plenty of time to relax before starting up the grill for supper. The boys and Alica spent their time outside listening to music while the rest of us were inside trying to recover from the sun. Lesson for the weekend: If you run your car for listening to music, your battery will be dead in the morning.

Overall it was a great weekend. Also on Friday our good friends, Laura and Kevin and their daughter Cora Beth, welcome their new baby boy, Christopher Joseph. We decided not to head down to Tupelo Sunday afternoon to set eyes on beautiful Joseph, but to allow them time to settle in and get adjust with the new addition.
