Can I have one more day off?

What a weekend! I barely got to rest any this weekend. Friday night started out with going to a rehearsal dinner in Tupelo. I made a bad choice on my entrĂ©e—the beef tenderloin was dry. I wish I had chosen the tuna. Oh well. I had a first Saturday—my first Catholic wedding. Wow. The ceremony lasted an hour and a half. It was very odd to say the least. We went to the reception for about an hour then headed to Oxford for Double Decker. I always enjoy Double Decker because you get to hear great music all day, browse the art vendors and pick up some cool finds, see friends you haven’t seen in awhile; always run into people you would never have imagined being there, and have a great time overall. Needless to say it was a very exhausting day. Sunday it was raining all day, I did some house work and other odds and ends.

I’m hoping that come June when DeAnne and Daniel help Rebecca move to Memphis, I will get to have Emma. I at first was going to have both, but DeAnne suggested bringing just Emma and coming over on Friday and have her spend the night. I’m looking forward to this. I’m already thinking of fun things to do—paint pottery, if it’s pretty go have a picnic in the Grove, play in the park, and more!

Today has cleared up and looks like it will be a cooler day and pretty.
