Last night was an exciting time getting to watch Deborah on Wheel of Fortune! We had a party at the student center with a bunch of people from church. I think we all were nervous at times watching. She did a great job! To come away with little over 14K in money and prizes (she won a trip to Portugal) I think that is doing ok. It was neat learning about some of the stuff you never see watching the show too.
Today has felt like Thursday to me for some odd reason. I guess I’m just ready for the weekend. I have accomplished most of my organizing I wanted to do this week, just need to finish my bathroom and do the laundry room. I think I’ll do that Saturday morning after my hair appt. I now have a lot more room under my guest bath sink, and hope I will have more in my bath once I’m done.
One of my goals for this year is to find a bookshelf I like. I have a problem with buying furniture (not that I have really bought any yet) due to I have this picture in my mind of what I want and can never find it for a reasonable price. Two pieces I have wanted to buy for at least 2 years now is a bookshelf and a new couch. Currently I have been very creative with “shelving” my books. I’m getting a little tired of it right now. I have most of my hardbacks that I love as a display on my mantel and all others (that do not fit on the 3 shelf case in the guest bedroom and under my nightstand) on the shelves of my end tables. I would like to find a bookshelf to put in the living room so I can house all my books together. I also would like to start getting more reference books, but I don’t have a good place for them until I get a bookshelf.
