Sunday was my family party. This year Emma, my oldest niece, planned my party. She has been planning everyone party since oh her birthday in February. We thought she would change her mind, but no. I really didn't mind since it's just a cake and what not.

Emma decided that I was to have a Care Bear party. My sister now is the one who makes all the cakes and not my mom. Growing up we always got to pick our cakes (no matter how complex or simple they might be) we wanted. I'm sure at some point in my life I had a Care Bear cake once. DeAnne was all excited about it and was looking forward to making this one. She wanted to find Care Bear plates, cups, and etc. but she went to 2

party stores and Target without any luck. She did a great job on the cake. Emma was the little party planner. She told us where to be for which part. When I was ready to open my gifts, she made us all go into the living room (which she started yelling for everyone to come since they were not listening to her at first). We had to be in the kitchen for the cake. We were all amused by the fact she had it all planned.

To be a 3 and a half year old, she was very detailed. I got my typical gift from my parents, only this year mom didn't want to order it online, so she gave me cash. Which worked out well since I was going to be in Tupelo on Monday and I could go to BAM and get at least 10% off and get more books! (I'll share those in a later post). The night was good and I got to spend time with my family.
Stay tune for the last installment.
