Yak Mail

Yak mail will be the way I communicate with B for the next two years. He is leaving us for Nepal--his wife is a diplomat.

This week has been extremely busy for me. I have been working 10 hour days, plans after work, and spending as much time with B as I can before he leaves. I feel as though I have not been home in about a week. I know this is not true, but I'm used to going home for lunch and being home by a little after 6 after a great workout. I'm not used to this feeling like I'm not at home for a week.

Tonight was B's going aways party. I asked him what he wanted to do for his last night in Oxford. Per his request, we started out at Murff's to proceed to L & M for dinner, then where ever else he wish to go after that. It was great to see all the old crowd show up to wish him goodbye. Dinner was great. I did not over due it since I wasn't that hungry, but the company is what makes it worth everything in the world.

I really needed to go home early after dinner to work on a few things before tomorrow. B convinced me that I need to join them out. So off we went. I am sad that I did not have my camera with me to get one last picture with B before he left us for good. (I'm used to B being in town at least once a month for about a week, if not more. It's weird to think this time he is flying back home to not return till sometime next year.) I just need to remember it tomorrow during lunch.

At least I can tell my client that the reason I'm so tired and dragging is because it was B's last night in town and they will know who I'm talking about and hopefully understand.

I'm going to miss B, but at least I'll have a fun place to stay if I decide to visit Nepal.
