I should go ahead and go into work since I am ready and it is almost 7, but I think I will just relax a little be and enjoy my coffee and blog a little bit.
It's hard for me to believe that this is the middle of June. Time goes by way to fast these days. The last I remember it was my niece's 2nd birthday in February. My dad is right, the older you get, the faster time goes by. Next thing I know it will be Thanksgiving. I'm already thinking of what to get people for Christmas. This year I'm determined to get my shopping done way before hand. This way I can spend more time wrapping the gifts.
Next week, I'm flying to New York (Melville) for a meeting with my client. Unfortunately, I do not get to stay long. I'm only flying in for the day. I hate to leave Sunni by himself for that long (I'm going to my parents this weekend and will be flying out of Huntsville). I will have to pay him plenty of attention when I get back. Should be an interesting trip--I just hope my flight is on time otherwise it will be a long trip.
My niece, Emma, is spending the night with my parents Friday night, so she will be there when I get in. I miss her so much. Granted I miss Lauren too, but Emma holds a special place in me. She is a nut case, but in a good way. Saturday we are planning to take my dad out for Father's Day since I was not in town and neither was my sister. This works out well since I need to take a picture of my dad and I to go with his gift.
