Katrina

Well, I survived Katrina. I was lucky that I never lost power during the night. I'm one of those odd people who love bad weather. Last night as I listened to the rain beat against the windows and the wind whirl around, I was wishing that I could sit on my back porch and enjoy the wind. (It felt wonderful out!) The rain was blowing all over the place, so that was out of the question.

I'm looking forward to the weekend--because it's my BIRTHDAY! I'm excited mainly because Friday night my parents, sister, brother-in-law, and niece are coming to stay with me for it. I will have a very full house, but shall be fun. I'm planning on taking Emma to Story Time at Square Junior that is, if she is in a good mood. The day is pretty much packed already with things I want to do while my family is here. I requested that Daniel bring his new camera so he can take shots around town for me. He's a really good photographer.

Then Saturday night, Lisa, Casey, Jessica, and I are going to Larry's so we can watch the love of my life play. He's so dreamy.
