Zoey is doing great! She is sleeping like a champ at night still. She only gets fussy when she is very tired and fighting it or when people are all up in her face. She likes her space and doesn’t like too many people picking on her. She is doing great at holding her head up; she still is not a fan of tummy time so we honestly don’t do it as much as we should. With that said, she is doing much better with tummy time. As you can see she really is getting better at holding her head up. She almost rolls over from tummy to back; she gets stuck on her side and then gets mad and gives up.
She is doing better when we put her in the bumbo, but still not 100% ready for it. She does well for a minute or so then she gets tired of holding her head up straight.
I think we are in the beginning stages of getting ready to teeth. She has been drooling for the past month and it gets worse all the time. She also pulls on her ears at times. She has discovered her fingers more and begun to suck them some. I thought she might be a thumb sucker like me, but she seems to like the first 2 fingers. As much as I would rather her take a paci than her fingers, it is cute to see her sucking on them.
Last week was our first week at Mrs. Hudson’s. She seems to like it. Brian says she is happy and smiling when he drops her off and she smiles when I pick her up. Work hasn’t been too bad being back.
This weekend was gorgeous and we took full advantage of it and headed to the Don’t Be Cruel BBQ Duel downtown. It was a little warmer than I would have liked, but it was great getting out and enjoying the weather. Zoey loves being outside. She ended up taking a nap while we walked around all the setups. She was all decked out in her green for St. Patrick’s Day.
Let’s see what other events have happened this month. We had the dreaded not pooping for several days milestone. Who would have thought that we would have been so worried about someone not pooping for days and then be SO excited when she finally went (especially on her own). Crazy how your world changes quickly. We still are trying to get back on to once a day schedules, but we will take every other day over almost a week. No one ever tells you things like this will happen.
