(Title)

How AWESOME is this weather?!  I am digging walking up to a cool brisk morning.  Fingers cross it will stay this way for the next two weekends!  I would love to have “football” weather for the game this weekend and for our brunch next weekend.

Now that I have a new sewing machine, I have been putting it to use.  I whipped up a couple of projects (one not 100% complete yet) over the past couple of weeks.  I am in love with my new machine.  While I’m still getting used to some of the features, I haven’t played with the built-in stitches yet, it’s a dream!  It sews through thick fabric like butter.  My other machine struggled through the simple stuff.  My next big project is one for my sister-in-law for Christmas.  I’m hoping I can accomplish this without too many major snags.

Here are the candy corns I’m making for the Halloween garland I’m making.  I think I’m going to place these on my china cabinet since my mantle has fall garland at the moment. (I decorate for both Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving at once since they sort of go together.) randomcrafts 008 I took a picture of the Fall/Thanksgiving table runner I put together, but its’ too plain just to show it. I’ll take a picture of my mediocre table decor tonight to show it off. I still haven’t found a table setup for fall/Thanksgiving that pops for me.

I’ll leave you with a random picture of Lauren and I from the weekend we were last at Mom and Dad’s.

Hey, the candy corn garland is such a cute idea. Where did you end up putting it?
