Early Christmas Present

Brian and I got an early Christmas…a new car!!!  We weren’t planning on getting a new one until late next year, but it seems like every other month we have had to make some kind of repair on his car.  Our original plan was to trade mine in and drive his until it died, but we decide to trade his in and let him drive mine until it died.  So we went looking at car a week ago and have been hackling with the sales guy to get a price we are comfortable with on the car.  We signed the papers last Friday night!  I feel so grown up now.  I no longer have my little car that has been with me for almost 10 years now.  I was more sad trading in the car than Brian was.  I didn’t realize that you could feel sad about something like that, I hate to see how it will be when we get rid of mine.  I’m sure ya’ll are all wondering what we got… a new Honda Pilot!  It’s Mocha Metallic with tan interior and we LOVE it! 

I am getting more comfortable driving it. At first I was scared to even drive it, more due to it’s a new car and I’m scared some idiot is going to hit me. 

I’m gearing up to be off work for about a week and half.  I’m looking forward to knocking out several items on my to-do list and relaxing some. My current plan is to get up and get ready like I’m going to work each day so I won’t be a bum and not get anything done.  If i don’t do this, I know I’ll just lay around and never get anything completed.
