RIP TiVo

I have been slacking in the posting area, but when I sit down to write, I just don't feel it. Not a whole lot has been going on lately with us. We did finally decorate for Halloween and Fall/Thanksgiving. I didn't have as much Halloween decorations as I thought nor have I finished the ones I plan to make, there is still next year. This year I did make a ghost garland that I love. It's simple but adds a lot. (It's hanging from our entertainment center.)



I have all the pieces cut out for my candy corn garland, just need to sit down and sew it together.

This past weekend was the Ole Miss vs. Alabama game. It was a good game eventhough Ole Miss did not win. Our defense team rocks! Alabama should have scored more points on us, but the defense held them back. I took a few pictures from the game. We ended up getting free tickets from Tommy so we were able to watch the game.








Once again it's raining here. I'm thankful for the rain, but I'm ready for some sunshine like we had a couple of weeks ago! I finally bought the paint for my rocking chairs and ready to paint them, but alas with all the rain I cannot. I also got paint to re-paint my old filing cabinet for the office. Ooooh, that would be a good before and after photo op. :)

Brian just called to give me some sad news...my beloved Tivo box died (see the picture above for a glimsp of my beloved). The past few days is has been on the fritz and the DirecTV people came out today (a week earlier than originally told) and said that it needed to be replaced. I knew this would happen at some point, but I really love the TiVo UI better than the DirecTV DVR one. Sigh. Bad news is they better find a way to keep all my shows that I have yet to watch that were recorded over the past few days!!! Now I get to go back and set up all my shows again. Sigh.
