It’s back to the grind today! The day has been fairly good considering I have been off for almost 2 weeks. I made a point to look forward to the day and think positive about going back to work in hopes that will help the day. So far it has. It has turned cold again today. This crazy weather is annoying, I wish it would just stay cold so I would get used to it and enjoy it. With it being like this, my luck will be come April 18th, it will be freezing!
The New Year always brings about resolutions and new things to look forward to. Here are a few of my resolutions and things I’m looking forward to.
1. Getting married! Thursday marks 100 days till the BIG day. It really does seem like it has been forever since we got engaged. I couldn’t imagine having a longer engagement. I think my procrastination would kick in.
2. Saving more money than last year. I did an ok job last year. Didn’t hit my mark, but came close to it. Need to get better at it. I’m hoping after the wedding when there is combine income and expenses it will be more saving and less spending.
3. Finally getting in shape. Brian and I both have decided we need to live a healthier life and exercise more. I think I will do better when I have someone going with me. I do fine once I get to the gym, but getting to the gym is my problem. I wish I had done this months ago before the wedding, but I have a target in line for the end of the year.
4. Cutting my hair after the wedding.
5. Taking better care of myself. Not only health wise, but I have noticed that I have been slacking in the department of making myself better presentable. If that makes sense. I remember back in even in high school when I would always make sure my nails were painted, make up done, hair fixed not just pulled back, etc. It’s not that I look sloppy; I just don’t take the extra step to look my best.
6. Hopefully having the house completed. Well phrase 1 that is. I have heard too many people say that you are never done with working on your house.
7. Try to finish my chronological bible. I have tried for about 3 years to do this and come March or April I start slacking. I have read the first part so many times now.
I hope everyone has a wonderful new year!

I only took a couple days off, and it was still hard for me to get back to the daily grind! I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday!
