Brrrrrrrrrrrr.

This morning was a brisk cold morning. The first morning I had to actually wear a jacket. The month of November has FLOWN by. It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week and Christmas will be around the corner. I have some of my Christmas shopping done, but hope to get some more completed this weekend while I’m in Nashville.

Brian is such a sweet fiancé; he is planning to paint this weekend while I’m gone. I think I need to keep this up, going out of town on weekends, since he is willing to paint while I’m gone. What better way to get the house painted and not have to do it yourself! I’m planning on painting the trim tonight in the hallway. I think painting the trim first will be easier than last. We shall see how it goes this time around. I hope the hallway will be finished when I come back on Sunday. I can’t wait to see the difference!

We ended up getting a GREAT deal on a cooktop, oven, and fridge this past weekend. Sad to say we didn’t get to do gas like we wanted to (last minute thought) but I’m not used to cooking on gas so it’s not like I’m going to be missing something. The kitchen is going to look better just with those in there. I need a good weekend to get the kitchen painted or at least start on the cabinets. The color I had thought I wanted for the kitchen was brighter and less green than I thought. Thank you for paint samples. I think if I go a shade or two darker it will be ok. Same with the dining room, it was just TOO light and now I’m changing the color completely. Just 2 more rooms to decide what color to paint and all the colors will be picked out. I’m ready to have everything in its place and slowly start moving my stuff in.
