After about 4 attempts, I finally figured out how to use double pointed needles. I’m attempting to make socks for Brian. So far I like using them; it’s neat to see the work in a “tube” instead of a flat piece. My next project is to make a blanket. My goal for my close friends is to make baby blankets for them when they have little ones, but the first one I make I’m keeping for myself.
Just a few more days till closing day! Today we went to the estate sale to see if there was anything we would want and to check on the house too. We did like the dining table and china cabinet. We didn’t buy just yet due to tomorrow everything will be half off. I called after the sale was over with today to see if anyone had purchased it and no one had! So we are headed back tomorrow to buy both. I’m excited that we can get both for the price of one. Both are in great shape and we like them. The house is already looking different with less stuff in it. Soon the fun will be begin with picking out paint colors and painting!
