Does it ever stop?

After yet another busy weekend, it’s Monday.

Friday night Chad and Allie invited us for dinner. Jeff and Jennifer were there as well, so it was good to see them and spend some time with them.

Saturday morning I had a baby shower in Tupelo for a good friend of mine and Brian’s. Of course plans never go the way you plan, so instead of leaving right after the shower like planned, I had lunch with the girls and then Brian and I hung out with Tommy and Rachel for a little bit. That night went to Bob and Terri’s to play Wii. They got Mario Kart Friday night which is soooooo much fun. After playing this and the Wii Fit I really really want a Wii now. Maybe one of these days I will save up enough, but I guess it’s between a Wii and saving for a new laptop. Sigh. Oh, to top off Saturday, I had completely forgotten to do the slides for Sunday. So as soon as I got home Saturday afternoon I had to do them quickly and email them out. That just completely slipped my mind last week. I never do that. I always do the slides as soon as I get the outline on Wednesday.

Sunday I was sooo tired from the busy weekend. More than I have been in the past since normally it seems like I have something going on each night of the weekend. After services, I did not want to do much of anything. I finally got up and going, but still did not clean house like I needed to. Add that to the list for this week.

This week is another busy one. I have a softball game tonight, a service meeting tomorrow night, Wednesday is church, Thursday I have nothing so far, but that will be spent cleaning house since Tommy and Rachel are coming for dinner Friday night, and then Saturday I have a wedding reception for my friends who got married while in Italy last month. July is already booked for every weekend. When does this stop?

Oh, on the fun note! Friday I got tickets for Brian and me to see the Black Crowes in Birmingham in November and Saturday I got awesome seats (floor row 27) for NKOTB in October!
