Passing the time.

This week has been one of the slowest ones for me at work. I have nothing in my queue to work on, and when I do get the one or two issues, I complete then right then. There seriously only so much of the internet you can look at. I’m trying to think of new sites to go to, but nothing is coming to my head.

I did find an interesting cause I’m going to start doing. I have always loved to cut and use coupons. I don’t k now what it is but, there is something that makes me happy when I go to the store and at the end hand them my Kroger card and coupons and watch all the money tick off. I’m trying to get better about using my coupons (I tend to get ones and never use them or forget about them), but I do pretty well as it is. Now at Kroger if you bring in your own bags (which I love using my grocery bags rather than the plastic ones because they whole a lot more) you get 3 cents off for each one you use. Not much I know, but at least you are doing your part to be a little greener. As I have digressed, today when I was trying to find something to read online, I came across an article about sending your expired coupons to military families overseas. If there are families you know who are overseas you can send them to them or you can send it to one of the bases. I’m going to try to get my Wednesday night ladies class to do this as well. (FYI, Mom when I come in next I’ll be going through your old ones to add.) Just something for thought for those who are looking for something easy to do show support to those families who are serving in the military.

Another interesting fine for those who have small children (sometime adults could learn this too) and teaching them the importance of washing their hands. The makers of Airborne have come up with a cute little soap to help teach kids to wash their hands.

Anyone have any suggestions as to help pass the time along at work?
