Week recap

The week has been slow at work, but I have been busy outside of work.

This week we started our Ladies Bible group for the summer. Laura decided to head this one up since she has been a part of one during the summer during the time she lived in Nashville. We are using the book Discerning the Voice of God: How to Recognize When God Speaks by Priscilla Shirer. Back in college we used to have a Girls Bible group each week and I enjoyed meeting each week to study and grow considerably.

Tonight my nieces are spending the night since my sister and brother-in-law are going to see Allison Krauss in Birmingham. I will be chasing a 3 year-old and 1 year-old around the house tonight and tomorrow. I have not seen them in about 2 months and I miss them dearly. I feel like they are growing up too fast (especially Lauren since she is changing so much these days) and I'm not spending enough time with them.

Looks like my mom will be coming in 2 weeks to stay with me for a few days. Hopefully she will get to sew for me for a change and knock out a few things for me. I always enjoy when she comes to stay with me for a few days.
