Arson? Now a threat?

Over the weekend, the gym at my Alma mater (high school) had an attempt of arson. The fire was contain to the ticket booth. The gym holds many fond memories for me. I spent most of my mornings before class in the band hall, which is in the Petty Center (gym), (yes, for those of you who still don't know, I was a band geek) with friends and eating breakfast, decorating for prom as Juniors, pep rallies on Friday afternoons before a "big" game, and more. Not only does it hold those memories, but state trophies from past years of us winning in many sports and sports memorabilia. Today reading the local paper, it was stated there was a threat made on the school by a former student on MySpace. What is happening to my quiet, quaint hometown??? I do hope this is nothing and everyone will be safe and out of harm.
