Playing Catch Up.

Time to play a little catch up. A week in review. (In no particular order.)

1. Blue Man Group show was amazing!! If you ever get a chance to see them, do so. K and I went to see them Friday and it was a blast. K actually got pulled up on stage by one of the Blue Man. It was a skit where they (Blue Man) were throwing paint balls and catching them in their mouth. Then proceed to "spray" them on the shirt (they put a blank t-shirt on K) K was wearing. It was a great night.

2. Last Wednesday, my high school band director, Dextor Greenhaw, passed away. He had been battling ALS (Lou Gehrig's) for years. He was an amazing man who touched several students during his years of teaching and after. In spite of having ALS, he did not let this bring him down. He used this as a way to grow strong with God and show others how fortunate we are to be alive. You can watch an interview with him from his church here or go to the main page.

3. This weather is wonderful. I planted some flowers Saturday since it was gorgeous weather. I have more I want to do, just need to plan it out then do it.

4. I have to travel to NY next Monday for work. I'm actually looking forward to this trip since R is traveling with me. Her and I are hoping to get a little shopping in while we are up there--cross our fingers the weather holds out and allows us to be on time. The work part will not be as fun, but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again, and finally getting to meet the ones I have not yet.

5. There are people out there who have never had BBQ before. How is that even possible if you live in the South?!?!

6. I'm going to freeze when I go to NY. I'm used to my new found Spring weather. Now I have to pull out my Winter clothes again. Blah.
