This weekend I saw the musical Spamalot. Friday night K and I went up to Memphis for the show. The show was great. I was impressed with how well they merged the majority of the movie into the musical. I think my favorite two scenes were the Lady of the Water and Camelot. After the show we met up with A on Beale. Only downfall of the evening--it was freezing!! The wind off the river was brutal. I can handle the cold if I'm full dressed for it.
I learned that nothing is open Saturday afternoons for lunch downtown Memphis. I have yet to figure that out. We finally found a place to grab a bite to eat before heading back to Oxford. I had to be back by 2 to help setup for a shower on Sunday.
Saturday night I was so tired I did nothing but bum around. I really should have been productive and did the things I needed/wanted to do, but I opted out of that.
This is how nutty I am; I saw Spamalot again on Sunday. There things Sunday that I did not catch on Friday and then there were some things from Friday's show that was not in Sunday's.
Today has been a pleasant day at work due to most of our clients are off today due to President's Day. I have been able to catch up on documentation. I'm ready for a good week at work. The past couple have been horrible. Let's hope the beginning is a sign as to how it will proceed.
