As many of you know, last month was my 25th birthday. I told myself that I would give myself one month off before I started working on the goals for myself. Sunday was the start date.
Now, here comes the hard part. It takes 21 days for something become a habit. With that said, I am 2 days into going to the gym on a daily basis. Granted I have a list of things that I am trying to make habit now.
The short version of the list of things I want to accomplish in the next year (at least).
1. Get in shape. End of story. I know I'm not fat, but I do need to get in shape to be healthier. I do not want to end up with health issue due to not exercising and eating healthy.
2. Get my stress level under control. Who knew at the rip age of 25, I would have high stress. This also goes with learning to be more patient with people. I have to remind myself that not all people are fast learners like me. (No, I'm not being arrogant, it's true.)
3. Practice yoga more. I miss it. Stupid cyst--if it wasn't for you I would never have stopped.
4. Get into cycling. I have always wanted to, but never really sure how to go about this. Thankfully I have a hand full of people who can help with this. So this means purchasing a bike.
5. Read my long running list of books. Yes, I know, I continue to buy more because books are my weakness and you can never have too many.
6. Write that long over due letter. (Don't ask, because you won't find out).
7. Attend more culture activities. Ok, this is not a big one because I do this now, but I need to do more.
I'm hoping the top 3 will help hand-in-hand with stress. This month will be the one from hell. I hope everyone forgives me if I happen to snap at you when it was not called for (not saying it ever is, but you know). I am hoping that after this month, life(work) will be better and less stressful.

This is a gret list! I've been doing the get healthier thing since January and though it's not easy, I tell ya, I feel so much better since I've been doing it regularly.
I know you can do it!
Reading more, keeping the stress level down... I can see where I need to improve by reading your list.
