I was excited to get my presents. I knew what my parents were getting me since it is the same thing each year. If anyone has any good suggestions for books, I'm all for it. I have a list, but welcome new suggestions.
My sister and brother-in-law got me what I was hoping they would. I know most of you are thinking why would anyone want measuring cups and measuring spoons as gifts. These are not your average ones, they are the odd size ones. (2/3, 3/4, & 1 1/2 C and 2, 1 1/2 t, & 2 T) The are shaped like little pots. Too bad the new cookeware I'm getting for Christmas is not All-Clad too, but I love both!
My youngest niece got me what I asked my sister to make so I would have one for her like I do for Emma. Now I just need a good/cute picture of Lauren and I. Maybe next weekend when they are in town, I will be able to get one.
The weekend was great. My sister and I went shopping yesterday. It was a good time. I think this is the first time in a very long time that my sister and I have been shopping together. I haven't been shopping in awhile either. DeAnne was a bad influence on me. I ended up buying stuff when I had no intention to. I can justify it by everything I got was on sale. I got tons of cute stuff for the holidays (Halloween, Fall/Thanksgiving, & Christmas) to decorate with. I still have more that I would love to get--if you can't tell, I LOVE to decorate for the holidays. I also got 2 Christmas presents, which means I'm done for my nieces.
Now to watch Nip/Tuck!

Check out the Thomas Covenant Chronicles by Stephen R. Donaldson. It's a great read, and you'll learn new words (puissant!). Donaldson finished the first and second trilogies something like 20 years ago... then out of nowhere, he announced a final set of four books three years ago. The first one of the final chronicles came out two years ago, and the second is coming out next year. Get in the game now!
