When It Rains, It Pours. Part 2

I'm sure the couple of people who actually read my blog, might be wondering what the part 2 might be.

This week has been a bearer of bad news for me.

Monday afternoon I get the news that a friend of mine had a stroke end of last week. On top of that he had a staff infection and strep. He is a diabetic on top of it all. I was floored. I didn't know what to think or say. All I could start thinking was he has to get better. The news from Monday sounded like he was getting better, but still had a long way to go. Wednesday the news didn't look good. Later that afternoon I received the news he had passed away. I didn't know what to say. I was in shock. All I could think about was, he is only 26. I was remembering all the times we had. He was my "date" for Wes and Sue's engagement party. All the crazy times we all had together seem so long ago. Please keep Cameron's family and friends in your prayers.

Cameron, my friend, you will be missed greatly.

Tuesday I receive an email from my mother saying that my cousin was going in to have test done to see if she had cervical cancer. If the vaccine for cervical cancer works, I'm all about getting it. I'm not sure when she will hear the results from her tests, but please keep her in your prayers.

On top of all that, work has just been stressful. Granted it always is, but this week has been worse. I dislike dealing with incompetent co-workers, or ones that are just plan difficult to work with. I think that I'm giving myself an ucler from having to deal with people like this.

Thankfully it is Friday afternoon, and almost time to go home. I'm visiting my parents this weekend, so it should be a very laid back weekend. My mom wants to go Christmas shopping--yes I just said Christmas shopping--for what I want.

Have a great weekend!
