After a relaxing weekend, it was time to get back into the swing of things with work.
The weekend was very enjoyable, granted there was one little snag. I decided to stay in town this weekend since I had an old college roommate coming in town from out of the country and we were to get together. There were a couple of other old college friends who would be in town as well. I was looking forward to see them since it had been 3 years since we last saw each other. I wasn't sure the plans, which was ok.
Friday was a blast. I didn't get together with my friends out of town, but meet up with others at Parish's. It was much fun and a different pace.
Saturday was one I had not had in awhile. I woke up early to clean house and get any house chores out of the way. I spent the day relaxing and reading. My kind of day. I was still expecting to hear from Berni for the plans for the evening. Well, like a true friend (feel the sarcastic) Berni does call me. We all wish that was true. Well, I have a feeling that I know why she didn't call, and it's a sad pathetic reason--Anna. I learned that some things never changed and I know who my true friends are.
I have yet to understand how people act and why they do. Yes, I know I'm the perfect person and at times I'm not pleasent to be around, but I have a loyal friend. I will mark this one off my list and move on.
