Recap of the weekend

This weekend was my niece's 2nd birthday. She is growing up so fast. She is a mess. Friday night I drove to my parents house for the weekend. Emma was spending the night with them due to my sister was cleaning house and trying to have everything decorated before morning and just let Emma come in and see it. The theme of the party was JoJo's circus. It was a good time, but man, having 3 kids running around and screaming gives me a headache. Emma alone is a handful. I don't know what my sister is going to do when she has the other one come May. She will have her hand full with both. I have a feeling my mom will be helping a lot more than she did when Emma was born.

It was a good weekend over all. I got to spend time with my parents. One of these days when I find time, I'll have them come over here for the weekend. That is find a time when my mom is not busy doing something else. They still need to bring me my recliner--I know mom will be glad to get that out of her living room.

I got a new vacuum this weekend. I know that sounds crazy, but I'm one odd person when it comes to stuff like this. I love getting new appliances. There is something about getting a new vacuum, iron, mixer, or etc. and getting it home and trying it out. It works wonderfully. Picks up all kinds of cat hair--which is good.

I have been having problems with mine, so I took it home hoping my dad or mom could figure out what was wrong. Well, it turns out the motor died. My parents were gracious enough to buy me a new one. It was an interesting trip to Wally World. My dad and I were going to get a wireless router (his idea, although I have been wanting them to get one forever) and a new vaccum for me. Mom had to go so instead of us going then, and her going later, we all went. It was an odd basket: 1 wireless router, 1 vaccum, 1 ironing board, 5 yards of fabric, 1 pack of shoestrings, 1 pack of 5mm lead, and 1 eraser.

Almost time to go home from work. I had a very productive day, and now I'm trying to find the energy to go to yoga. I really need to go. I have not been in months due to my hand, and now I can. There is no excuse, except for me being tired, not to go.
