Well, I'm thankful the weekend is almost over. I had two weddings yesterday, and I hope those were the last for awhile. I love (well most of the time) attending weddings, but when you have so many, it gets tiring. I think all of my friends that are going to be getting married soon, have and it will be awhile for any others.
The town is swarming again with students and their parents trying to get moved in. It seems every year, there are more students attending Ole Miss. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that students are coming, but I enjoy it during the summer when they are away. Oxford is too crowded in the fall and the school year. My best pet peeve is people who do not know how to drive around the Square. I don't understand how hard and confusing it is to drive it. Oh well.
At times, I wish I could relive my college life, but then again, I'm glad that part of my life is over with. People used to ask me if I regretted coming to Ole Miss (they never really understood why I didn't go to Auburn or Alabama)--the answer is now. I have learned a lot from my experience here. Granted it may not all be good things, but I did learn a lot. I met wonderful new people, met a lot of not-so-great people, wish I applied myself better in classes, learned to live on my own, and not depend on Mom and Daddy anymore, learned a GREAT deal about myself (good and bad), and to top it all off--got a great college education.
Good night to all! I'm off to go play a little Halo2 on live.
